The Boo Boo Story with Oliver and Mom
One sunny afternoon, Oliver was playing superhero in the backyard. He had tied a red towel around his neck as a cape and was zooming around, pretending to save the world. “Look, Mom! I’m Super Oliver!” he shouted, running as fast as he could.
But as he leaped over a pile of toys, his foot caught on a rock, and—ouch!—he tumbled to the ground. Oliver sat up, clutching his knee, which had a small scrape. Tears welled up in his eyes as he called out, “Mom! I got a boo boo!”
His mom came running outside, her first-aid kit in hand. She knelt beside Oliver and gave him a big hug. “Oh no, my little superhero! Let’s take a look at that boo boo,” she said gently.
The Healing Process
Oliver’s mom cleaned the scrape with a damp cloth, making sure to remove any dirt. “This might sting a little, but it will help your boo boo heal faster,” she explained. Oliver bravely held still, even though it tickled a bit.
Next, she applied a colorful bandage with stars and rockets on it. “There you go! Now your boo boo is all covered up,” she said, giving Oliver a reassuring smile.
Oliver looked at the bandage and grinned. “Cool! Now I look like a superhero with a battle scar!”
The Magic Kiss
Before Oliver could run off to play again, his mom stopped him. “Wait, Super Oliver! You forgot the most important part,” she said with a twinkle in her eye.
“What’s that?” Oliver asked, tilting his head.
His mom leaned down and gave his knee a gentle kiss. “There! A magic mom kiss to make your boo boo feel all better,” she said.
Oliver giggled. “Wow, it really works! My knee doesn’t hurt anymore!”
Back to Adventure
With his boo boo all patched up, Oliver was ready to get back to saving the world. But this time, he decided to be a little more careful. “Maybe I should fly instead of running,” he said, flapping his towel cape.
His mom laughed. “That’s a great idea, Super Oliver. Just remember, even superheroes need to watch where they’re going!”
